OK, so I was born in the town of Turkey, the county of Turkey, the municipality of Turkey, and during the reign of Turkey the III in Uzhakibinanistan. I was the first of my class to discover the true nature of plumage, while also inventing a gene that makes us taste more like chicken than before. Though pole vaulting was my love, science was my passion. It's pretty obvious that this makes me a candidate for the best turkey ever.

In fact, my greatness as a turkey abounds in such magnitude that it flows over into other species, including humanity. And there is just so dern much of it, I simply cannot sit by and let anyone else assume the title of the best human ever. It would be unacceptable. I appreciate the academy for this grand gesture and want to dedicate it to my mother and father, who recently passed in an accidental beheading on his way to a cranberry sauce farm. Oh, irony...
